From having to have his mom cook dinner for the crew, to the intense brotherly bond, both fraternal and adversarial, that he forges with his lead actor Dylan Harmon, who has Down syndrome and been cast in a lead role for the first time.
It’s an honest look at what it takes to make a film in Canada, made with a generous amount of humour and warmth, and spiced with a dash of irony and pinch of heartbreak.
